R5000 bullet trap granulate in the shooting range
RUTEC R5000 is a polyurethane bullet trap granulate for indoor and outdoor shooting ranges. We recommend covering it with a natural rubber-based RUTEC R1078 cover sheet that keeps foreign matter away from the bullet trap. Tests of R5000 and R5000N – partly with cover sheet – received positive assessments from the Bundeswehr shooting range coordination office at the Bavarian State Construction Directorate (Landesbaudirektion Bayern) in 2018, 2020 and 2023, each for the configuration tested; this does not constitute a general approval.

RUTEC R6500

The RUTEC R6500 is a granulate-filled steel bullet trap box with a replaceable polyurethane front plate, optionally with a mobile base frame. In 2020, a shooting range expert carried out firing tests on a test sample of the design used at that time: projectiles from 200 to 7,000 joules were safely contained when they hit the granulate filling. Versions and energy limits are stated in our quotation.

R7000 bullet trap lamellas in the shooting range
The pictures show RUTEC R7000 bullet trap lamellas made of soft PVC on the roll, during installation and in use in shooting ranges.
R9000 tubular bullet trap
The RUTEC R9000 tubular bullet trap is patented in Germany, Austria and Switzerland (EP 3 444 559 B1) and available on request. It consists of polyurethane tube segments filled with RUTEC R5000 bullet trap granulate. In 2019 it was installed as an intermediate bullet trap at the Ulm proof house (Beschussamt Ulm).
