Special products for shooting ranges from RUTEC

Splinter protection made of high-quality natural rubber

RUTEC splinter protection

Our RUTEC splinter protection is made of an elastic, natural rubber-based material. Depending on calibre, ammunition and material thickness, bullet holes largely close again. It is available in red (R1038), white (R1267) and black (R1078), with green (R1077) on request – on the roll, cut to size or as made-up curtains for indoor shooting ranges as well as for open and partly covered ranges (hunting and sport).

Advantages at a glance:

  • retains bullet splinters and fragments
  • bullet holes largely close again (depending on calibre, ammunition and material thickness)
  • available on the roll, cut to size or as made-up curtains
  • curtains with matching rail system and installation on request

RUTEC projection & hit detection
– everything in view

Projection

For digital target presentation we offer two different media. Our RUTEC R3000 projection paper has proven itself over many years. An opaque polyethylene layer between the paper layers prevents the image from showing through and gives the material stability. RUTEC R3000 is available in 190 and 250 g/m² and in various roll widths and lengths.

For interactive target presentation with thermal hit detection, we supply projection screens made of white, natural rubber-based RUTEC R1267. Hits are detected by the temperature difference when a bullet passes through the projection surface. Depending on calibre, ammunition and material thickness, bullet holes largely close again, which extends the service life of the screen.

Hit detection

Thanks to its light colour, white RUTEC R1267 is also suitable as a reflective film for infrared hit detection.

RUTEC R7000 bullet trap lamellas and loops
– all in a row

Bullet trap lamellas and loops made of soft PVC slow bullets down in several layers hanging one behind the other, absorbing their kinetic energy.

Our standard material is honey-yellow soft PVC with approx. 78 Shore A; transparent material is available on request. We supply the lamellas 500 mm wide as standard (other widths on request) – on the roll, perforated for existing suspension systems or as welded endless loops. Common thicknesses are 10 and 12 mm, other thicknesses on request. Due to the wide variety of bullets and their different energy densities and sectional densities, we agree the number and thickness of layers with you and the shooting range expert. The lamellas may only be fired upon at temperatures of +10 °C or above; further conditions of use are stated in our quotation.

We are happy to advise you.
