RUTEC R6500 Bullet trapping box.
The RUTEC R6500 bullet trap box is designed for energies up to E0 ≤ 7,000 joules.
The main body is made of 4 mm ST 52 sheet steel. The upper 250 mm of the back wall are also reinforced with a 12 mm Hardox 500. The box can be filled with granules and drained downward via large, centrally located cutouts on the top and bottom.
The two side guides for holding the front panels are made of a special plastic and are connected to the side of the box via screws. This allows simple replacement if necessary. The three front panels made of 30 mm highly wear-resistant polyurethane are stabilized among each other by a tongue-and-groove system and allow uncomplicated replacement of individual elements.
The front panels are secured to the box from behind with special quick-release systems to prevent them from slipping out.
Optionally, the entire back panel can be additionally refitted with a 12mm Hardox 500 steel as an end plate. A suitable guide is already installed on the back of the box. A movable base for the bullet trap box can also be supplied as an option. This allows the system to be moved to a wide variety of positions.
The filling of the R6500 is made of RUTEC R5000 PUR granules. This ensures that even high-energy projectiles are safely absorbed and stopped. Due to the special physical properties of the granules, a long durability can be achieved even with intensive shooting.
