Restrictions

RUTEC protective curtains are not suitable for use with ammunition with weak propellant charges or projectiles from air rifles.The curtains must always be attached in a freely suspended position and must not be attached to the floor under any circumstances.The curtains must be attached continuously behind all target displays. An overlap between the individual curtains of at least 150 mm is mandatory.RUTEC protective curtains may only be used with ammunition approved on shooting ranges.


Warranty for defects

The warranty rights presuppose that the customer immediately notifies SGP Spezial Gummi Produkte GmbH of obvious defects and complains in writing about hidden defects within 8 days of discovery.

If there is a defect for which SGP is responsible, we are entitled to choose whether to remedy the defect twice or to make a replacement delivery.

If we are not willing or able to remedy the defect or make a replacement delivery, or if the remedy of the defect or replacement delivery fails, the customer is entitled, at his option, to demand the cancellation of the contract or a corresponding reduction of the purchase price.

As far as nothing else arises, further claims, no matter for which legal reason, are excluded. SGP Spezial Gummi Produkte GmbH shall not be liable for damages that have not occurred to the delivery item itself; in particular, SGP Spezial Gummi Produkte GmbH shall not be liable for lost profits or other financial losses of the customer.

When processing items provided by the customer, the customer bears the risk of damage and destruction, unless there is gross negligence or intent on our part.

However, this exemption from liability shall not apply if the damage was caused intentionally or by gross negligence. Furthermore, it shall not apply if the customer asserts claims for damages due to non-performance because of the absence of a warranted characteristic.

The operators or permit holders of shooting ranges are solely and exclusively responsible for the safe operation of a shooting range in cooperation with the responsible shooting expert.

Excerpt Shooting Range Guidelines in the current version

1.2.2 Principle of safety
A firing range must be constructed in such a way that, according to current knowledge, hazards and dangers can be excluded both internally, i.e. for the persons involved in the shooting, and externally, i.e. for the surroundings or the neighborhood.

1.2.4 Maintenance of the safety structures
Each shooting range shall be maintained in good working order on an ongoing basis. The prescribed safety facilities of a shooting range are to be constantly monitored by the operator or permit holder for their safety of use. If there are significant deficiencies, shooting operations must be suspended until they have been rectified.


Exclusion clause

Our warranty refers only to the perfect condition of our material. Consumption, quantity and design data are empirical values which cannot be transferred without further ado in case of deviating conditions. The information contained therefore corresponds to the current state of the art. However, it cannot include the overall status of generally accepted rules of construction technology, relevant standards, guidelines and rules of craftsmanship. These must be observed by the person carrying out the work in addition to the processing instructions.

Structural, static and physical properties of RUTEC systems can only be achieved if the exclusive use of RUTEC components or of products expressly recommended by SGP Spezial Gummiprodukte GmbH is ensured.

The responsibility for the proper use and suitability lies with the specialist company responsible for and carrying out the installation.
